20th Ave Sunset is a single form dahlia. It is orange in color and has dark foliage, very dark the more it’s in the sun. It also has a dark center. We were going to introduce this as a great garden flower this year, so it was not sent to trial gardens or put up for bench evaluation. Nevertheless, it has done great at the shows. At this year’s ADS National show in Philadelphia, it was on the court of honor in 3 places by 3 different exhibitors. It was on the court in other shows, but I thought this one was notable.
